Chapter Five Hana brushed the dirt from her hair, pulling a face as leaves and bits of grass tumbled free every time she ran her fingers through the red tresses. It seemed endless. “I hate having a shower at the moment,” she grumbled. Logan nodded with understanding. “It’s because it forces you to face your body’s flaws and the fact that it failed you at the worst of times.” He flicked at a piece of polystyrene and tutted. “Bloody builders.” Hana gulped and bit her lip, forced to acknowledge Logan’s easily spoken truth.
