Chapter Twenty “I know where she went,” Bodie sighed with exasperation, turning up the volume on his police radio. With small steps he approached his angry stepfather, trying to listen. Logan grunted and carried on dragging the two seater sofa across the wooden floor by himself, screeching the legs as though the thing was in pain. “Wait up!” Bodie snapped, “I needed to listen to that message.” He knew the tall man was rattled and upset. It seemed like rough justice that he had spent all morning organising somewhere else for his little family to live and when he finally secured the old principal’s house on the edge of the grounds, he was yelled at by Hana. “Let’s get this sorted out, then I’ll deal with her,” Logan replied gruffly.
