CHAPTER 8Lara could not sleep that night. She kept tossing and turning so often that it began to look like a sport. Who was that woman? That face…she had seen it before. But where? It seemed like the longer and deeper she searched for answers, the more they eluded her.
She decided to take a stroll in the corridor. Ordinarily, she should have been scared of getting caught outside after “lights out,” but at that point, Lara did not care. Who was going to punish her? An SS3 girl? Please!
I double-dare the goat who will try that nonsense with me! Lara thought.
