Chapter 5 : The Christmas Eve Party

The Christmas Eve Party

Alvin's P O V :

"So who is going to the party tonight" Allen asked, entering my cabin.

"Which party ?" I asked..

"Well, our team just got an e-mail from Mr. Walker is throwing a party later at his house to celebrate Christmas. One of us has to go since we will be business partners from now on", Allen said in a serious tone, as if he cared about this f*****g party. I know my brothers very well. Alex was always all about the office and work, while Allen was the brain behind all of our work. I, on the other hand, had to deal with all the press, media and attend parties and what not.

"It's okay, I will go. I don't want to spend my Christmas eve with two grumpy old men"

"Old my ass ", Allen retorted, and went back to his cabin.

"Alvin, hurry up " Alex yelled.

I looked at myself one last time in the mirror before going to the hall where both Alex and Allen were busy binging some dumb ass show.

"Are you sure you don't want to go", I asked both of them.

"Yaa... Now go and don't embarrass yourself or us", Alex said, and Allen laughed. I drove my car smoothly and before I knew it I was already at Mr. Walker residence. The guard let me in after verifying my invitation. After my car was parked , I made my way to the venue. The hall was nice, even the decoration was nice, elegant and sophisticated. There was a huge family portrait of Mr. Walker with his family was hanging on the front wall.

"Mr. Black Moon you made it. Thank you for coming to my party" Mr. Walker said, coming towards me.

"Pleasure is all mine, sir," I said.

"Stop this formality. The drinks are over there and the starters are over there. Go help yourself " Mr. Walker said and went to greet perhaps another one of his guests.

All of us here are humans. So I guess the drink wouldn't be strong enough for me. I saw the bartender and was going towards him when a certain smell invaded my nose and immediately made my wolf Kelvin wake up.

"Kelvin , What's wrong ?"

"Nothing is wrong you dumb ass, mate, mate, it is near."

"Realization hit me and I searched for the source of the scent."

It didn't take long time to find out, as I saw two kids running from a guy and the guy looked at me with his eyes wide. Our eyes met and that was right there. I felt something I had never felt before. Before I could say anything to him , he left .

I excused myself from the crowd and tried to follow him. I followed his scent and found my mate, who locked himself in a room.

"Listen, whoever you are, I don't want a mate. Certainly not now. Can you just leave" my mate said. The very first word that came out from my mate's mouth was that he didn't want us. Kelvin howled in pain while I, on the other hand, was enraged. Before I could say anything, Alex and Allen joined me and, from what I could tell, all of us were pissed.

Alex's P O V :

"Do you think we are becoming old and grumpy", Allen asked me.

" Maybe not old, but grumpy."

"What happened to us.. We three used to be so wild and fun ", Allen said.

"You know, seeing the twins perfectly happy and content made me think maybe we should try harder", Allen said.

I knew he was right. We all three used to be fun and wild. Even all of our cousins called us the three musketeers. Not finding our mate affected us so much that slowly we stopped enjoying life.

"Come on. Hurry up your lazy ass. We are going to Mr. Walker's party", I told Allen, and got ready to change. After fifteen minutes, we both met down the hall and I let Allen drive. He needed it. As soon as the guards verified us, I felt a sudden happiness. I looked at Allen and he also looked surprised. We both made our way towards the hall where I found Mr. Walker was busy chatting with a few people.

"Mr. Black moon you came. Please enjoy yourself" he said, and I just nodded. My nose caught a faint smell and I knew in an instant whose scent it was. There was no way on the earth I would not recognize my mate's scent. Unlike the mall, the scent was thicker and stronger here, indicating my mate was there and that's probably the reason Alvin felt so happy.

"Mate is here" I said to Allen and his eyes widened. I felt Kol was howling in my head and I followed my brother's scent. I almost growled when I heard what my mate said and before I could control myself or my wolf, Allen ripped out the door from it's hinges.

Allen's P O V :

What the fuck...

It's not even five minutes since I found my mate and the first thing I heard was I wasn't needed.

"Is this a f*****g joke ? "

Killian growled angrily in my head and before I could control myself I ripped the door from it's hinges.

My mate looked really surprised and horrified seeing the three of us.

"We have been searching for you for the last nine years ", Alvin roared.

"I even looked for you at the mall but you were quick enough to escape" Alex growled.

"The first thing we are hearing from you is that you don't want us" I screamed. I saw my mate flinch at my tone . Before we could say anything, he came towards us and embraced all of us in a hug. Though we were burning with anger, the moment his skin touched mine, all the anger vanished and I felt pure bliss. We all hugged him, calming our wolves.
