'Why is Mr. Shaw coming downstairs again? Do bosses always eavesdrop?'
"Of course, Mr. Shaw. Just a moment," Chloe said quickly, then hurried toward the pantry.
He shot Aria a meaningful look.
Aria frowned and glared back, confused. What was that supposed to mean? Was he trying to mess with her again?
"I heard there's a team-building event at the end of the month?" he asked suddenly.
"Yes, Mr. Shaw," Aria replied seriously.
"I'll be attending as well. Pass it along. Unless it's something critical, no one is allowed to take leave."
That single sentence stunned all three secretaries. If the CEO personally showed up at a team-building event, wouldn't everyone be too nervous to even breathe?
Adrian curled his lips slightly and strode upstairs.
Before long, Chloe delivered the coffee.
