He only looked once before expressionlessly closing the door. Not long after, he saw Sebastian out. When he returned, he leaned against the doorframe and barked toward the lounge.
"Still not coming out?"
Aria took a deep breath and walked out.
He let out a cold laugh, his eyes full of mockery. "Ms. Vale, enjoying yourself eavesdropping in there?"
Aria lowered her gaze, her tone calm.
"Mr. Shaw's romantic history doesn't interest me." With that, she turned to leave.
Adrian grabbed her wrist and yanked her into his arms, holding her tightly in place.
"Let me go!" Aria struggled fiercely, her eyes instantly reddening. "Adrian, are you trying to force me again?"
"Sorry about last night. I drank too much." His low voice sounded above her head. "I promise it won't happen again."
