Chapter 66

1029 Words

Wade's Point of View I went to Mia's room since I wanted to check up on her because of what happened earlier. A plastic of bread and a milk bottle are in my hand in case she is still hungry. I saw her plate, and she haven't touched it that much, maybe because of how awkward the atmosphere is. "Mia? Can you please let me in?" I said while knocking on her door. "It's me, Wade." I had a hunch that she would not open the door for me, but I was wrong. She is standing at the door frame with a disappointed look on her face, and I can't help but feel bad. I am not the right guy for her, and I know that they are only concerned and want what is best for her. If only I had been vital that day, I would not be like this. My pack would have been still here. "Sorry," I mutter, which makes her sigh.
