What he said made me look at him and Sofia, who looked confused. I didn't know what to say, so I pulled him out of the room so we could talk about ourselves.
"Can you please wait for me here?" I asked Sofia, and she just nodded her head in agreement. "Thank you."
I faced Wade, who also looked confused because of how I reacted.
"Is there something wrong?" He asked.
"There is none. I just don't want anyone to know about what happened." I said.
"So you want to keep it a secret? May I know if you are ashamed of us?" He suddenly asked.
I sighed at his words because I was not ashamed of him. I am afraid that some people here don't like me as his mate and might lose their respect for him, which I don't want to happen since I have seen how they do that.
