After Damon collapsed, he was taken to the coven as he instructed. Before it happened, Malia was watching, she didn't want to intervene because it would endanger the lives of the kids as they weren't out of the forest yet. She saw a man being attacked but was pleasantly surprised seeing the man beating the hell out of them. But seeing how plenty the vampires were, she sighed. No matter how strong he is, he is never going to beat them.
