Time To Prepare Goodbye

Her friends walked out of the house quickly and gave her a hug before helping her carry her stuff inside. They said ‘Hi’ and smiled at the Alpha's son, David and he gave them a curt nod before going off to do goddess knows what, but the trio didn’t really care what he was going to do. They had a movie night to get started with. They went to the twins’ rooms first to put Calista’s stuff down first before heading into the kitchen to chat while Calista started on her preparing the stuff for her caramel corn. The whole pack loved the stuff, but she wouldn’t tell anyone her secret.     “Bunny how do you expect us to live without you or your caramel corn when you find your mate?” Chris groaned at Calista, she just chuckled at his dramatic act.     “Oh hush I’m not just leaving you guys high and dry when I find my mate I’ll teach you guys how to make it before then and I’ll always stay in contact with you drama queens.” She rolled her eyes and chuckled a bit.     “Really Bunny? You promise?” Beth asked like a child.     “Always. I can’t live without your annoying asses.” They all laughed. “Do you think I hurt them?” Calista still couldn’t get the events of today off of her mind. She kept on thinking of all the things she could’ve said or done, but the scenarios she came up with still wouldn’t have ended well for either of the boys. She just wanted to know that what she did was the right thing.     “Calista you did nothing wrong. The only thing that you did was make sure that neither of them got hurt. You have stood strong for what you believe is right and that’s an admirable quality.” Beth told her this and walked toward her friend with her twin in tow and they enclosed their Calista in a hug. She somehow still needed reassurance when she turned people down she needed to be reminded that it was for the best.     “How are you guys always so good at saying just what I need to hear?” they laughed and joked for a while longer before they went and got ready to start their night of fun and childish scheming for their final mark on the school. Unbeknown to them that slowly, but surely there was an evil wafting towards them and a past that was long forgotten was to be told.
