Lexi's POV:
I just woke up. Hunter is still sleeping next to me. Last night was crazy for many reasons. I did what I always do. Emma and I hit it as usual. Katy and Josh...let's say that they may have found a way to get closer. Poor Aaron was alone. He needs a girl to doesn't feel lonely. And about Emma and Ricky...I don't know what and how it happened. I'm not sure should I tell them about that. But they are my friends and deserve to know everything. Moreover, I'm sure that Emma will ask me if something has happened. She always does to make sure that she didn't do something stupid. I don't know how much she'll remember, same for Ricky.
- Hey babe, are you ok? Why are you worried? - Hunter asked me
I didn't even realize when he woke up. I was too busy worrying for my friends.
- I'm fine, just thinking about last night.
- What a night it was? I can't believe that you convinced Katy and Josh to come.
- Me either, but at least that helps them to get close.
I still can't stop thinking about Emma and Ricky. I know that it's not my business what will happen between them, but I hope for the best.
- Are you sure there isn't a problem? You know you can tell me. - Hunter said softly
- I caught Emma and Ricky making out last night! - I blurted out
- WHAT!? Are you sure? Maybe you have hungover. That's impossible.
I show him the little video, which I took. He looked at it shocked. Hunter was watching it, shaking his head. I don't know what he thinks, but for sure it's not something nice. Not like this is a bad thing, but when they are sober, they'll never do it. They don't get close. Even a simple hug is way too much.
- How did it happen? How drunk they were?
- Enough to let this happen. I don't know should I tell them. They are my friends, but I don't want things between them to get awkward. I just want to keep their friendship. What should I do?
- Honestly, I don't know. For sure they won't like to hear it, but we don't keep secrets. Especially like this one. Is it beneficial or not, but they probably won't remember that this has happened.
- I know, but I feel bad and now hungry. Let's go for food.
Both of us went downstairs. I found some eggs and decide to make them with a little bit of cheese. Good thing is that Hunter doesn't complain about the food. Soon I heard talking and turned out to see that it was Aaron. My heart skipped a beat. I was pulled out of my thoughts by him.
- Lexi, turn it off! Do you want to burn the house? - he said and turned off the stove
- Are you ok? Did you burn yourself? - Hunter asked me
- Yes, I'm fine. Kind of. I just...can't stop thinking about them.
- About who? I don't understand. - Aaron said looking at me
- She is talking about Emma and Ricky. Things between them get heated last night. Way too much.
- How exactly? They always get close when they are drunk.
- I saw them making out. Last night when I went to search for them after the pool I saw them in the kitchen. And now I don't know should I tell them or not.
- Woah, that's um... I don't know what to say. But they deserve to know everything. Plus Emma will ask you like always.
- I know and that's why I am worried. I don't know what to tell her. Everything or almost everything.
Aaron was going to say something, but Katy and Josh appeared. Both had a smile on their faces. Did something happen or it is because it was their first time getting loose. Well if she let me it won't be the last. But again it's up to her.
- Good morning. How are you, Katy? - I asked
- Can we talk for a second? I need to ask you something.
- Yes, sure. Let's go.
I took her to my room. She seems nervous and excited at the same time. Now the want in me to know what has happened between them is getting bigger.
- So what do you want to ask me?
- What happened last night? Did I do something stupid? Please tell me that I didn't.
- All I'll say is that from all, you and Josh were the ones who did almost nothing. Just chilling with us. But it's because it was your first time and you were drinking less. Emma and I get wasted really quickly. - I chuckle
- Yeah, I saw that. The boys were right that when you two are drunk things go wild. But did I do something? You said almost nothing.
- Well if we count that you kissed Josh's cheek once. Besides that nothing else has happened.
- I did what? Why I don't remember. When did I do it?
- It was when we were at the pool. I guess the drink got you. After all, you jump as well and then get out just to bring Josh inside. All the time you were around him. But don't worry, nothing happened. Only this small kiss is a good start for you two. But probably he doesn't even remember it.
- Actually, I did. It was fun and a bit unexpected. - Josh said standing in front of the door
- Haven't you heard of knocking? - I asked
- I knocked, but nobody answered. I thought that something might have happened.
- In that case, I'm going to leave you two to talk. I think you need that. I'll be downstairs if you need anything. Tell me when you want to go home. - I said and left
Maybe things can work out. Who knows? I'll talk with her later. But one thing is for sure. She had fun like never before. Katy needs to get out of her shell more often. When I get downstairs I saw that Emma and Ricky are there. Here it comes. The questions. I get worried again. I'm hoping for the best.
- Good morning guys. I see that you two finally woke up. What a night it was, huh? - I said
- It's probably a good one since I don't remember it or at least the big part of it. - Ricky said chuckling
- It was interesting and fun. We can do it again if you want.
- Lexi, can we do a quick chat? I need to talk with you about some things. - Emma asked
- No problem. We can go to the backyard. It's sunny.
We went there and sit on the ground. The weather was nice. Emma looked at me worried. Does she remember what happened? If she does then I no need to tell her, which for me will be good, but not for her.
- I'm listening to you. What do you want to tell me?
- What exactly happened last night? I don't remember anything. Did I do something to Ricky? But be honest.
- Well you kiss his cheek once. Also, sit on his lap for a while. Not like he was complaining. - I chuckle
- Something else. C'mon, tell me everything. I want the truth, Lexi.
- And I just said it. What else do you want?
- I know you're hiding something from me. You look worried. I'm going to ask you again. What exactly happened last night?
- I need to talk with someone. I'll come back in a minute.
I went to get Ricky. If I'm going to tell her, it better be to tell them both. It's a common problem. I have no idea how they'll react to that. If I haven't seen it with my eyes, I was never going to believe it. I bring Ricky and told him to sit next to Emma.
- What is going on? Why did you bring me here?
- I need to tell you something. To both of you. I'll send you one short video, but before you watch it, I want you to listen to me, ok?
- Lexi, is everything ok? I'm getting worried. Did you do something last night?
- Me, no. You two, yes. I want you to know that no matter what happened last night we all are friends. Maybe it'll be a little awkward for you, but I hope that you can sort it out. But you have to promise me that you won't ruin your friendship.
- Why? What the hell is going on? And what did we do? I don't remember anything from last night. - Ricky asked confused
- No matter what is it, we will be friends. I promise. - Emma said
- Watch the video and you'll see. I don't know how it happened, but it did.
They looked at me and then play the video which I sent them. Both look at each other, then at me. You can see that they are embarrassed and feeling awkward. I know that the drink helped them, but more and more I started to wonder if it was only because of it.
- I'm sorry guys. I know how getting closer makes you feel.
- I guess I was drunk a lot since I don't even remember that. - Ricky nod his head
- Hey, it's not only you. But maybe it's better that we don't remember it. - Emma said
- I'll leave you guys to talk. If you need anything, I'll be in the kitchen with the rest.
I get up and left. They need some time alone. Is it weird that when I'm drunk my memory is way better than when I'm sober? I walk back into the kitchen and join the rest. What will happen to Ricky and Emma? I hope that they still will be friends. Something more? If I have to be honest I would love it if they get together, but let's not rush things. If it's meant to be, it will be.
