Chapter twenty - I can't believe it

Lexi's POV:

I woke up in a weird mood. This time I didn't sleep well. I am still a little bit worried for Emma and Ricky. I don't know did they talk yesterday and if they did how it went. I don't want to rush the things between them. I hope that nothing has happened to their friendship. I get my a*s out of the bed and went into the bathroom. Then I change myself into some ripped jeans, a tank top, and my favorite sneakers.

When I went downstairs for breakfast I saw Katy sitting alone at the table. Where is everyone? Probably they went for early work. I don't care anyway. I grab some food and sit next to her.

- Good morning Katy. Why you are alone?

- When I woke up there was no one. I guess they have to work.

- So it's only us then, huh? Interesting. Rule number one is to never leave kids in home alone, but it says nothing about teenagers. - I said smirking

- Whatever you're thinking about, I'm not in. I prefer to not get in trouble.

We dropped it. I start to think about Ricky and Emma again. I have to be thinking for a good amount of time since Katy had to break my thoughts.

- Lexi, are you ok? You look worried. Is there a problem?

- No, I was just thinking about Ricky and Emma.

- Did they do something? You know you can tell me. I am your friend.

- I saw them making out on Friday night while both were drunk. I have no idea what to do. I don't want them to lose their friendship.

- They did what? Do they know about it? I'm pretty sure that both of them won't be happy to hear it.

- I told them. I wasn't sure should I do it, but they are my friends after all. By the way, I wanted to ask you what Josh wanted to talk about with you? Did something happen?

- Nothing happens. He just said that if we're going to do things, he prefers it to be when we are sober. I apologize for the cheek kiss, but he said that didn't mind it.

- I wonder what will be his reaction if you give him another one. I'm sure that he'll like it.

- I won't do it. I want to keep our friendship after all.

- Well it's up to you, but you better do it soon. He will not wait forever.

- Now all I want is to go to school. I'll go to get ready. You can come with me if you want.

- Does this mean that I have to go there on time?

- Yes, it does. That's the point. We can't be late.

- Then sorry, but no. I have never been on time and I'm not planning to do it anytime soon.

- Do what you want. I'll go now. - she said and left

I went back into my room and lay on the bed. I don't know why I am worried so much for my friends. I wanted to call Emma, but I don't want to sound like I'm curious to know. I'll talk with her later. After an hour of laying, I finally decide to go to school. I went on my motorcycle and drive away.

When I arrived some boys looked at me. What? Haven't they seen a girl before? Moreover, I can come whenever I want and no one can say anything about it. I walk straight to my History class. This is the most boring subject that ever exists. Who cares what has happened years ago? Not me for sure.

- Miss Chesters you are late again! - the teacher said

- I'm always late. Didn't you get used to it?

- Go and sit don't before I give you a detention.

- Do it. I don't have plans for the afternoon so...

I went and sit down in my place. After this class, I have two more and then a lunch break. All my classes are boring. We do nothing which actually can help us in real life. Luckily all of them finished fast. For my lunch break, I decided to go to the playground. The cheerleaders appeared for their practice. Later the football team came too. Great. I guess I won't be alone. Soon I heard someone calling my name. I turned around to see that it was Emma and Ricky. A huge smile grew on my face. My mood definitely changes.

- Guys, what are you doing here. I'm so happy to see you. I want hugs. - I said hugging both of them

- We can see. You're like you just won the jackpot from ten million dollars. - Ricky chuckled

- I thought that it'll be nice to come and see you since you still haven't found someone from here with who to go around.

- I will go to the bathroom. I have some things to do. - Ricky chuckled and walk away

- So Emma what is going on with you two. Did you sort the things?

- Yeah, about that... we are...

But before she could finish Ken or whatever his name was appeared and sat with us. I hate him. He is so annoying.

- Hello girls. Why you are alone? Do you need some company? And can I join?

- Look Ken, we are talking here so I want you to get your dirty a*s and go away.

- Who said that I am talking to you? What's your name sweety? - he asked looking at Emma

- Lexi is right. You better leave us alone.

- But why? Don't you want to have some fun? I won't tell anyone?

- I think that it's time for you to listen to the girls and really go away. - Ricky said when he came back

- Right now I am talking with a hot girl, so you better leave.

Ricky grabbed his shoulder, which made Ken stand up. The next move of Ricky surprised me. He hit Ken in the face. The same thing did Hunter a couple of days ago. Well, he deserved it anyways. When a girl says go away, you should do it.

- What the hell? Last time it was your boyfriend now him. What is wrong with all of you? - he said and walk away

- Thanks to Ricky, but you didn't have to do it. I could've handled it. You no need to... OMG! That wasn't for me, right? It was for Emma. I can't believe it. You b***c, why didn't you tell me? I am so happy for you guys. More hugs. - I gave them a hug again

- Are you ok? Did he touch you?

- No, I am fine. You appeared at the right time. Thank you. - Emma said and kissed his cheek

- You two are cute, you know? This kinda reminds me of my relationship.

- That's why we came here. What I said at the beginning wasn't true. - Emma said

- You don't know how happy I am for both of you.

- Technically it's your fault that it happened. So you can blame yourself for that. - Ricky said

- But I did nothing. How did it happen? I want to know everything. - I chuckled

- Well I went to talk with him and then other things happen as well. No one was drunk this time and we decide to try and see where it'll goes.

We talked for a while when I saw two other boys coming to us. They were Hunter and Aaron. A bigger smile grew on my face.

- Are you partying without me? No one does it. I am offended. - Aaron said

- Hello mister. I have missed you. And you have to pay for this. - I said and kissed Hunter

- Is this a reunion or what? You didn't tell us that you're coming. - Ricky said

- You two as well. But you know well that we have you to keep an eye on her. She is a troublemaker. - Aaron said looking at me

- Like you're not. But you have to admit that I am very good at it. - I replied and everyone laughed

I turned around to kiss Hunter and maybe went a little heated. Well, we haven't done anything for three days. I've been missing this feeling. Not like he has any complaints.

- If you are a good girl, I'll give you a treat later. - Hunter said and winked me

- I wonder will I be the only one who will have it. Or someone else will receive one too. - I smirked looking at Emma and Ricky

- You better ask them. I'm not the one who should tell the story. But Ricky no matter that we are friends, if you break her heart, I'll kill you. Understood?

- Yes, mam. But don't worry. I won't let anything happen to her. Now I'm starting to understand why Hunter is in protective mode all the time.

- You just have no idea how many boys want her. She is like a fresh piece of meat. - Hunter chuckled

We sit and talk for God know how long time. The football team and the cheerleaders gave us couple of looks, but we ignored them. I am so happy right now. And it's not only for Emma and Ricky. I'm so lucky to have friends like them. And my boyfriend is the best of all.
