“Thanks for coming with us, Jasper. You really didn’t have to,” I said to Jasper as we flew in the sky, towards the rendezvous point to meet the Fae aid caravan.
Being a vampire, Jasper has natural flying powers. Since it was still daylight, he made sure to cover his body in a few coats of witches’ salve, to protect his skin from the sunlight. He offered to accompany us to help escort the caravan.
The caravan consists of a large carrier truck and a suburban, carrying the medical Fae staff. We were to meet it at the borderlines of the Fae and Dragon lands.
