The mood in the club had clearly lightened since Trisha’s departure, at least as far as the rest of the hen party were concerned. When Michelle had finished dancing with her two latest beaus, she did not even notice her future sister-in-law’s absence.
The girls knocked back the last of Josh’s champagne and left the table for a dance together. They stayed close enough so that they could keep an eye on their stuff. After all, they did not want to end the evening having their bags stolen, or their drinks spiked.
The two men Michelle had been dancing with each brought her over a drink. Michelle took one in each hand and kissed both men in thanks.
