Bitter Truth

Lying on my newly made bed, I looked in the sky, actually the sky was beyond the roof but there was a small hole inside the roof which I looked through. My stomach began to rumbled because I've not eaten since afternoon and it was already evening, I could see it through the small hole, so at least I knew it was evening. I knew I needed to get some sleep so that at least if she releases me I would bath and eat something. The next day, I woke only to find the door opened, and when I went out, I saw grandma at the dining table organizing some dishes. “Come dear. Have your breakfast because you'll be working all day today. Sit, eat and dress up because you'll be going to the farm to work.”she said. I didn't say anything, I just took my seat to have a good breakfast, I ate till I could I couldn't feel my belly no more, before I could finish cleaning up the plates… “Natasha!! I give you less than ten minutes to get down here and start working in the farm, or you'll regret being a bastard to my son!” she yelled out to me. Let's just say I'm used to her being very annoying and self-centered. Quickly I went to my room, took a shower and dressed in my farm attire and boots. I was ready to work but I decided to text Natalie because I missed her so much. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ NATASHA: Hey Nat! It's me Natasha, I was missing you so I decided to text you. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ I was about to leave when I saw that she texted me back. ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ NATALIE: Hey Nat! I don't know why but I want to tell you that, anyone who tries to hurt you or make you feel bad is just pushing you to your destiny. Take care, I'll text you later. NATASHA: Okay Nat. Thanks for the tip dearie, I'll do as you say. NATALIE: Okay. Bye ?? NATASHA: Bye ??❣️ ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ I knew grandma would have been looking for me but before I could ran downstairs, she walked in. Now I knew I was in a big trouble because she looked so furious while staring at me. I decided to ran but since she locked the door, I couldn't open it. She sat in an old office chair and turned around, I knew this was a very crucial moments for me as I knew that she was going to tear me down. “Now I know you're gonna hurt me but before you do…” I tried to finish but… “Ouch grandma, please stop!” I cried out. As always, she used her car tyre whip to whip me till I could feel it no more. I finally fell onto the floor and she gave me an injection on my left arm, I felt dizzy and as usual I slept. It was all like a dream to me but when I woke up, I realized it was reality. I felt so dizzy and lightheaded when I tried to raise myself from the floor. When I tried to repeat the process again, she whipped me and pushed me towards the door with her leg though I tried to oppose her treatment towards me, my weak body couldn't respond to the oppressive language my brain was communicating. I shouted on top of my voice but since the house was deserted from the town. “Shout as loud as you want but I guarantee you that, I am the only one that can hear you as you're shouting dear!” she whispered wickedly and loudly to me. “What have I ever done to you Grandma Lizzie. You wanna kill me? Okay thanks but don't toucher me before you kill me please, just kill me in peace not in peices.” I cried. “You want to know what ever did to me? Okay I'll tell you.” she said and then began,“Exactly sixteen years ago when you were still in your mother's stomach, I was the luckiest woman on earth, to have a wonderful husband like your grandpa. He was everything I ever wanted, he was sweet, warm and lovely and any woman will die to be with him. He was my boyfriend then, we were planning on getting married because our bond was growing even stronger by the day. A month to our wedding, your grandma came in with your father and introduced him to my fiance as his son. I was heartbroken, all the ladies of my age mocked me, they called me names I never expected all because the wedding was cancelled and also I had a son who was a bastard!” she stopped, took an old photo with a handkerchief wrapped around it and wiped her tears which was flowing down her wrinkled face. For a minute it felt like I felt her pain and I understood her, she was speaking with a lot of emotions and I decided not to interrupt her. “I had to marry another man who will love and cherish my bastard son and I, and amazingly I found a man as wonderful as my late husband. He took very good care of my son and I and though he was lovely, I never forgot the love I shared with your grandpa. I then decided to take revenge on each and every one of his generation, starting from your dad who I eliminated gorgeously.” I exclaimed at her last statement. It means after all these years, she was the murderer, she was the one I was planning to have real revenge on? “It's a good thing I couldn't kill your mom too because I wouldn't have the chance to toucher you like how I'm doing now. I wouldn't hurt your mom until I turn Lilly against you and your mom. She will do whatever I tell her even if it's to kill you.” “You criminal I'll make sure I make you pay for all that you've done to me and my family, you'll pay!” I screamed out to her. “Well, won't you listen to the rest of the nice story, how I killed your grandma and grandpa on the same day, it was a lovely death dear.” she said. “You did what… you killed my …grandma and grandpa?!” I mimicked sadly.
