The war started as soon as Light Alliance send some of its force to march into the dark forest. Shifters really had the ability to move freely with their agility, they easily became the group to scout the outer areas. They killed any creatures in sight, as long as they belong to the Dark Alliance.
Humans were also sent into the dark forest. Elleste could occasionaly seen some of their group roaming around with some dark creatures hanging on their people. They don't need to eat, but it was certainly how they shown their hostility to their opponent.
Undead was the one moving in the nights, as they were stronger at that time. However, the word dark labeled on some creatures in the Dark Alliance also had some meanings. They were the master of darks, and could move thorough darkness with ease
