The reapers found Abigail's scent again soon after the first pack that tracked him, and they all changed their course. He had to backtrack in a hurry in order to reach her before he did. He just hoped that he could keep his distance once he caught up to her again. But of course, he cannot track her, just them, and he followed them to a shore along Italy’s mainland.
