A hard worker will get everything he wants." -Proverbs 13:4 Joshua: Joshua is quite certain he’s never experienced an awkward meal such as this one before. To him, having a meal with people he loves is a spiritual experience and it’s when he feels closest to God, but here with Abby’s emotions pouring off of her, it makes everyone nervous. They don’t wish to disturb her and cause another eruption. It’s hard not to study her, Joshua thinks, because everyone, including himself, is drawn to her in some way. For him, it’s finally being able to put a face to his paintings. The moment he saw her, his expectations were blown out of the water.
