Devin POV I awoke peaceful and rested. I could hear Erin moving around the house. It felt surprisingly natural to wake up like this. I thought I would be disoriented and miss my cabin and the academy, where I worked and exercised, but I was perfectly content here. Erin's alarm had woken me up, but I didn't want to leave bed. Instead, I waited until Erin herself got up. I was hopping she would wake me up, but instead she snuck out to let me continue sleeping.
