Joel waved his hand to the four guys then they all greet each other in a cool way. You know those typical cool dudes greet each other when they meet. I can't believe that Joel actually made friends with these guys.
During our high school days and even elementary, Joel always stick with me and never really had any close guy friends but things has changed a bit now. My homeboy made some friends and they're all very attractive.
"Guys, meet my best friend Valerie." Joel introduced me to them and my eyes widened looking at the boy that I think is attractive earlier. He smiled at me and waiting for me to shake his hand but I just blink twice.
Joel waved his hand at me, "Dude, are you daydreaming again? These are my friends from college." He said, trying to wake me up from fairy tales.
"Oh yeah sorry, I was just thinking about my dead lizard." I said it out of nowhere, I don't actually have a pet lizard.
I said that because I was really nervous in front of the guys and shy around boys I find attractive.
This guy, Joel's friend from college. He's cute like really cute and I look like a mess right now.
Joel brow furrowed, "Dead lizard?"
I giggled awkwardly, "Never mind."
Joel shrugged, " Okay? So this is Christopher." He introduced me to the cute guy I like. I can feel my cheeks were burning a little because that's how cute he is.
We shake hands, "I heard a lot about you, finally get to meet you." He said.
Of course, that's my boy Joel. He always talks about me to his parents, his cousins and now his new friends from college.
After that, the other three guys introduced themselves to me.
Now I know their names, Christopher the guy I found attractive. Zabdiel the tallest among them all with short blonde hair, Richard the one with swag and blonde hair and lastly Erick the one with bright green eyes.
They sat down and out of all, Christopher was sitting next to me. Why?! For goodness sake, I was sweating from nervousness.
"Actually I think you're prettier in real life than in pictures that Joel showed us."Christopher said to me and it made me blush a little bit. He thinks I'm pretty?
I nodded awkwardly, "T-thanks."
He smiled, "You're welcome."
"Yeah she is pretty but her pretty face doesn't match her attitude and personality. Too boyish." Joel giggled.
I slapped his arm and it made him winced, "Ouch! See you guys, I told you." He laughed. .
I bit my lower lip in annoyance because of Joel, don't he dare embarrassed me in front of the guy I like but to be honest I just really like Christopher's appearance, I mean we just met. I can't possibly be in love with him already.
Perhaps just a little crush?
I've never been in love before and so does Joel. Maybe this is the feeling when you found someone really attractive. Now I know what having a crush feels like, it's when I see Christopher.
"I heard Joel said that your major is photography?" Christopher asked.
I nodded, "Yes, I really enjoy taking pictures of scenery." I said.
Christopher smiled, "That's cool, my major is the same as Joel. We're in fashion marketing,. I like the idea of styles and business but I also like music too."He said.
This guy seems really friendly and cute too I may add.
Joel scoffed, "Chris, everyone likes music. You're not special."
Christopher giggled, he threw a napkin at Joel's face.
"So Valerie, if you have time. You could show me some of your works." Christopher said.
I nodded, "Yeah sure, I would love to take a picture of you.."I just said it without knowing my words, Christopher and the other guys look at me with confusion plastered on their faces.
I gulped nervously, "What I meant was I would love to show you the pictures I took. I awkwardly giggled.
Joel clucked his tongue so I looked at him and I think he knows what is up, okay screw it.
Joel smirked," Chris, I think my best friend right here is interested in showing you all the pictures she took. You guys should hang out more." He said.
Oh Joel, you really did it this time.
Christopher nodded, "Yeah that would be a great idea."
I nodded, "Hmm yeah."
