Back at the palace, Nick arranged for the proper doctors to help in Laryn’s healing process. Upon a physical examination, they discovered she had wolfsbane in her system that would take time to exit the body. It was also discovered that she was approximately 5 months along with her baby due a little after Christmas. Female werewolves carried their pups for 6 months instead of 9 months like their human counterparts. The baby was a little on the small side, so Laryn might not go into labour until a few weeks after the 6 month mark. The doctor assured Laryn that it was completely normal and nothing to be alarmed about. Most likely the wolfsbane in her system had affected normal development of the pup.
