I should have known the day would go wrong from the moment I stepped into the dining hall, but I didn’t. I walked in with my friends… Damon, Clyde, and Jaxon… shoulders squared, head high, pretending my life was still perfectly intact. Pretending I hadn’t been the talk of the academy for the past week.
