I woke up later, it was morning, and everywhere was bright. I reached for my phone on the bedside table, I checked the time, and there was a message from Camille. She asked me to pick up my dad by eight in the morning, and it was way past eleven am in the morning.
I have to go later to pick up my dad, I laid back on the bed with the intent of going back to sleep.
I had just closed my eyes when it popped open again, I was alarmed. It means he has been there waiting for me to come to pick him up.
I turned to my side to wake Theo up and found his side of the bed, empty.
There was a written note on his side table, I reached over to grab it.
