If only it's easy to dictate the heart, Lenette could have done that. She could have done that a long, long time ago. Too bad it's not the way things operate, too bad her stubborn heart refuses to cooperate with the fast pace of her mind. She has forgotten the bad feeling on her mind, she is so sure about that. However, her heart has not. Her heart still feels that's searing pang of pain every time a trigger of that painful memory appears.
Why am I behaving this way? She asked herself as she sat down comfortably at the sofa on the second floor of the executive residence given by President King. She has moved to this place this afternoon and she has already fixed her things.
