Lenette remained silent even after hearing what Lyra said. In the end, Lyra got frustrated.
“Can’t you even get angry at him?” she said in a high-pitched tone. “He is staging a revenge. Who knows if what he did is real or not?”
“How can I get angry at him?” She said and smiled wryly. “He has all the reasons in the world to do what he did. Everything about us is unlabelled right from the very start.”
Lyra realized that whatever she says now would not move this woman a bit. She is clearly resolved to act in a particular manner. She would just get frustrated in the end. She hugged Lenette one last time and left. All she wishes is that she will move on with her life as soon as possible and she believes that she will be able to do that sooner or later.
