Chapter 2 The race

Since they could not tell us apart at all. The only time they could is when we got tattoos and color in our hair.

Good morning Beta Rick, we all said together with big smiles on our faces. Beta Rick was tall, handsome, with shoulder-length wavy hair that was salt and pepper.

Any female would love to be in his arms. He was 6'9, golden brown, with chestnut brown eyes, and a tattoo on his left arm.

He had nothing on papa at all.

For an old man, papa looked like he was in his twenties still.

He has long thick black and a little gray in his hair that stops in the middle of his back.

A full low-cut beard he kept trimmed down low but just enough our mama could pull.

Papa was 6'10, one eye blue and the other green, huge muscles that reminded you of a body builder, full lips, big hands, and a whole body of tattoos.

Papa did not age the way other wolves did because of our family secret. Grandpa was a hybrid of Lycan, werewolf and vampire.

Only a few trusted people know about grandpa, grandma, and us.

Yes, we are the same as him because our dad was like him, but our mom was a straight Lycan and werewolf.

So, we naturally were a triple threat werewolf, Lycan, and vampire.

That is why my sisters and I were a lot taller, bigger, faster, and stronger than any werewolf in the pack.

That also meant the men as well.

As far as we know, we were the last of our bloodline, so we were rare indeed and were taught how to defend ourselves at an early age by a father and mother.

"Girls, Beta Rick, let us get started," my grandfather said.

We start by stretching and warming up with everyone.

Once we were done, we broke off into 5 groups.

Grandpa and Beta Rick took the more seasoned warriors to train with first. Then I left 4th through 1 year to us. My papa pack is one of the largest packs in Texas and the strongest one too.

No other pack could compete with us.

Not including the women and kids in the pack.

The men's count was 2,000 strong, with the women and kids 3,000 strong and growing.

Usually, my sisters and I would take our group and train separate from each other, but today was different.

"Let us have a friendly competition today," Dragon said with a small smile. YEAH, LET'S DO IT, Delta said with a huge grin, jumping up and down and pulling on my arm.

I do not want to why cannot we work out like we always do. I side with a mischievous smile.

Come on Blue, do not tell us you're scared of losing to your little sisters. Now Dragon taunted and Delta added her 2 cents as well.

OK, let us make a beat then.

The two losing teams have to do the winning team chores for a week and do it in a dress.

I looked at my sister's faces as they thought it through and talked to their teams.

It is a deal they both said.

We shocked hands and headed off to the track.

We both split our teams into two. Delta got the batons and handed them to everyone.

We got into our place and got ready to start the race.

You can call this off any time now, baby sisters, and save yourself the humiliation I tell them.

Who is backing out, not me, Dragon said with a side look?

"I am never scared to take on you two big heads," Delta said.

Off our team go. Delta put her fastest in the front and her slowest in the back.

Dragon did a mixture of the two.

Me, I put my slowest but strongest in the front and my fastest and strongest in the back. This way we could get the leverage we needed to win.

Delta was in the lead so far, then me and Dragon tied.

All you could hear was yelling, screaming coming from the track. That drew attention from Grandpa and Beta Rick.

We were up next.

Dragon took off first see you losers at the finish line.

Then Delta we see about that Dragon said speeding up.

I bent down and took the weights off my legs and got into place.

I took off pushing hard on the ground.

Looking at my prayer, I sort of speak with hungry eyes.

I caught up with Delta with no problems. Stuck out my thong at her and turned my head to catch Dragon.

I have to say she fast but not fast enough.

I came up on Dragon so fast all I could do was smile on the inside.

Got you little sis now eat my dust.

I pushed harder and really dug in.

I crossed the finish line first and stood there with a big smile with my hands on my hips.

Delta was closing up on Dragon more.

But it was not enough to make her bet her.

They both cross the finish line, Dragon, and then Delta.

"Looks like we are going shopping for dresses for you guys, huh," I said with a laugh.

Dragon face was red, Delta was trying to catch her breath.

They both looked at each other and then me.

I was doing my victory dance as I always do.

Then boom they tackled me to the ground.

We rolled around on the ground a few times.

Once I was done playing with them, I pinned them to the ground.

Get your heavy self-off, they said to me.

Nope, I have a nice pillow right here. Come on Blue, get up my grandpa said with a big smile.

Okay, okay, I am getting up papa.

Let us get back to working out girls. We finished working out and hit the showers and got dressed to go eat breakfast in the main hall.

Everyone in the pack ate together.

My sisters and I did not eat the same meal as everyone else since we were fussy eaters.

We walked into the main hall to be greeted by our grandma.

Good morning girls, how was training today?

Good mama, we competed against each other in a relay race.

Did you know, so who won the race? Delta and Dragon looked at me. Blue did, they said at once.

Did she now with or without the weights on Blue?

Without the weight grandma.

Why did you take the weights off, grandma asked?

Because we had a bet going, so I could not let these two beat me could I now.

Why did you take off your weights? Dragon asked.

Why do you wear weights on your legs Blue? Delta asked.

I wear them while I train, so I can be stronger.

Once I get used to those, I put on heavier ones.

So, when I take them off, I move with no problem and faster.

I did this with dad when I was 5. So, it was a habit of mind.

So, ladies, are you ready to eat, grandma asked.

YES, STARVING we all said.

OK, take your sets and I will bring them to you all.

Taking our sets, grandma and a few gammas brought us food.

Thanks so much, we all diged into the food.

Delta and Dragon do not forget we have 2 to go shopping for a nice dress for you two, as I said with a big grin.

You are not really going 2 make us do this are your big sis Dragon said with a side eye.

Heck yeah, you would make the loser do it, I said with an eyebrow raised.
