Valerie sighed as she walked inside the house. She frowned when she was welcomed with a deadly silence. Normally, Marina would greet her whether they were arguing or not.
"Marina?" She asked, hoping that she would pop out from somewhere but she was filled with worry when she didn't reply. Guilt overwhelmed her as she knew that they had an argument before this. She breathed out and quickly walked over to the garage to see whether the car was parked there but to her shock, it wasn't.
