Marina woke up due to the sun shining in her room. When she yawned and sat up right in her bed, she was reminded that she wasn't in Mooresville in her small room but in LA. Marina smiled at the thought of it. She took a deep breathe and got out of her bed. She walked towards the bathroom. Marina brushed her teeth and decided to take a shower. She was glad that she didn't had to share the bathroom anymore. It was sometimes annoying to wait for her brother or father to come out and she couldn't do anything than just coming late to school or to meet ups with Valerie. Marina stepped into the shower and let the warm strays of water flow on her body. It was honestly so relaxing. Something she needed after that long ride. She was too tired to begin with and to go and shower. She just went to bed without any worries and she honestly had the best sleep. When Marina got out of the shower, she wore a basic white-t-shirt with green like joggers and her white shoes. She loved to wear basic clothes, not too much colour. Marina was just that way. She applied some cream on her face and applied a little bit of makeup on her face so I she could look more alive. She was in LA now, not in Mooresville anymore. "Marina! Please tell me you are awake." She heard Valerie call out for her from downstairs. "I am!" Marina shouted back. She let her hair air dry and took her phone before walking downstairs. Valerie smiled when she saw Marina walking down from the stairs. There was something different about her today. Marina looked like she was more alert. "If the guys don't fall for this then I don't know what will." Valerie said when she looked at Marina and she laughed softly in response of it. "There is nothing special about this." Marina answered back as she was standing in front of Valerie. Valerie laughed softly. "But it is." She said with a smile and Marina rolled her eyes as she hugged Valerie. Today was going to be a different day. "Good morning to you too." Marina said and Valerie chuckled softly as she held onto Marina "Good morning." She greeted her back. When they got out of the hug, Valerie held up Marina’s car keys. "You are driving us today and we are having breakfast out." She said with a smile and Marina frowned at the first instant before she chuckled softly. "Off you go." Marina said and Valerie happily turned herself around as she walked off. Marina and Valerie both went outside to the garage. When Marina opened the garage, she unlocked the car and sat inside of it. It was sill mind blowing. "Let's go the mall. I think we will find a place to have breakfast." Valerie said as she sat down in the car and Marina laughed softly at her comment. "You think?" Marina asked as she laughed. Valerie shook her head as she laughed. Marina drove out of the parking lot and the garage was closed behind them. When Marina drove, she felt like she was controlling something. It wasn't her first time driving but it was the first time driving in her own car. . "Okay Marina. You are creeping me out. Act normal." Valerie said as she looked at Marina who drove so alert and Marina burst out of laughing. "That's not fair. Have you seen yourself when you had your first car." Marina said and Valerie shook her head with a smile. "That's probably why I am creeped out by you." Valerie answered and Marina took her eyes of the road just for a second to look at Valerie. "Is that even a word?" Marina asked confused. Valerie shrugged her shoulders. "But it is now." Valerie said with a smile and Marina shook her head. Valerie was unbelievable sometimes. "Typical Valerie." Marina said as Valerie gave her a glance. Marina turned the car in another street and the parked in the parking lot in front of the mall. "We are finally here." Marina said happily as if she had accomplished something so great. "It was a ten minute drive." Valerie said as they got out of the car and Marina laughed. "But it felt like eternity just because of the long drive we had when we were moving." Marina breathed as she smiled. Valerie nodded. "Okay, I got the give you the right in that." She said and chuckled. "Thank you." Marina said with a smile. Valerie and Marina walked inside the mall and Marina’s ears were filled with loud chatter. She heard her stomach slightly growling out of hunger. "My stomach is angry with me. I need food." Marina said as she held her right hand onto her stomach and Valerie laughed as she shook her head. "So is mine." Valerie replied. They were looking around to see if they saw any type of shop where they could finally have a snack. "There." Marina said as she looked at one cafe. It smelled delicious and she could bet that they had the best coffee. "Valerie." Marina said when she didn't hear her reply back. Marina turned herself around and to her confusion, Valerie wasn't there anymore. "Valerie?" Marina asked confused. She was looking around but she couldn't see Valerie anywhere. "Princess." Marina suddenly heard a familiar voice. When she turned herself the other way around and she saw Grayson standing in front of her. Marina flinched and gasped. "What the hell." She cursed as she looked at Grayson. He kissed his teeth as he shook his head. "No swear words. Really bad." He said sarcastically with a smile. Grayson was so creepy. Marina didn’t know how he could find her the whole time. First in Mooresville, then on her way back to LA and now here in LA. "What are you doing here?" Marina asked as she looked at him in confusion. He just shrugged his shoulders. "Just walking around in LA." He said and Marina shook her head. This wasn’t a coincidence. "No. How do you always find me?" Marina asked now a bit angry and she truly wanted to know how because she felt like she had a damn stalker behind her at all times. "I always find my way back to you." He said and this time, Marina couldn't sense any sarcasm or whatever he always did. This time he was serious. She looked at him in confusion. "I don't have time for this Grayson. I have to find my friend." She said and she walked away from him. When she finally saw Valerie on the phone. "Valerie." Marina said and Valerie quickly turned herself around, looking dumbfounded by Marina. "Marina. Where were you?" She asked confused. Marina turned herself around and just like she thought. Grayson was gone. "Find a place to eat." Marina said with a smile. She had to find out who Grayson was and why he didn’t stop following her. There was something about him that she couldn’t really tell. It should have terrified her but somehow it didn’t and she didn’t know why, and that was something that made her anxious.
