Vanessa was examining Valerie and looked for any obvious signs that could indicate that Valerie could be dying any time soon and if there were any, she used her magic to slow it down before she could choose what kind of spell she was going to speak out and at the same time tried to make sure that the thing asked for wouldn't be too bad.
"How long did you hold onto her for magic?" Vanessa asked and Daniel looked at Valerie while he answered, "I think it was more than ten minutes..." He whispered. He could feel himself becoming sick. He was going to be the cause of Valerie dying and he would never forgive himself for that.
