Rebirth : Apocalypse Hunter

Chapter 6

" My Dear Brother! Congratulations for Your promotion! Will We get a chance for a treat? Before You leave this town and head to LA! "  Maxx congratulated with a big bear hug when He see Anthony coming in. But what Anthony does next shocked everyone. 

" We should stop this play. Now then let us all rest and prepare for tonight's matter. The mission is more important then congratulation words. " Anthony coldly said and left to His bed, before closing the door with a loud bang. 

" Wh-What happened to Big Brother? " a small voice sounded and Bri's twin ponytail was seen. While the males are shocked they just thought it must be stress from expectation.

- Male's Room , 2nd Squadron of the Special Forces , 77 Highway , Denver , USA

Inside the room, there is five double bunks with a cupboard beside each of the double bunks placed in a circle. On the middle of the room there is a long table. The lighting inside the room is a standing lamp beside the door with a large lamp on the walls.

On the bed , Anthony lied down while holding His head. He sighed a few times before sitting up and  opening His t-shirt and looking at the tattoo on His chest. On His chest there is three different colored tattoo's, one in light blue the other two is black and purple colored. " They are all in the same form of a small spark, this means they are all at the first level... but why did I get a new element? " Anthony murmured to Himself with His head full of questions. 

" The elements, they are the same as before... " Anthony softly talked while He reached out His right hand and the three elements are swirling above His palm, as He played with them the sparks on His chest become brighter and beside each of them there is another duplicate of the same spark.

" Hmmm, every time the element's grow they will multiple and their colors will be darker. In My last life, the people who can reach level two in a minute is only the A and C Base Leader's. I need more power! " Anthony thought aloud and He gripped His hands stronger, until His knuckles turned white. With a glance to the closed door, Anthony lied down once more and takes out His phone.

Opening the phone, He saw the many miscalls and messages of congratulations. He hurriedly open His chat with His father, He saw the many lines of praises and reminders but what He have as His expression is not a smile but a big sneer. 

He impatiently typed, " Father, Thank You for the words and reminders. I will stay with My Mother in Los Angeles, not bothering Your time with Your affairs and My Step Brother. Thank You. " when Anthony clicked Send, He felt relieve for the first time since experiencing His rebirth.

He gazed to His phone once more before texting His Mother about His move to Her house in Los Angeles, when He sent the message He is surprised to see His Mother replying so fast. 

" Anthony, please feel free to come to My Place. It's Your home as well. I heard about Your achievements from My colleagues, let's have a party when You arrive here. " His Mother texted. When He read the text, He realized His mistake not being upfront to His Mother about His decision to pick His Mother's side.

He texted again, " Mother, Anthony won't go back to Father because He also hates Anthony. He have taken drastic measures about His inheritance. He also have payed a few spies and few brother's of Mine to pay attention to My every movement. " 

Anthony sighed when He didn't get any replies from the message He sent. He hurriedly called His Mother, only to get no answer. With a bitter mood and sad expression, Anthony sleep and in His dreams He continuously dreamt of His past life. Not caring anymore, He woke up only to find out the sky outside is already dark, and looking to the other beds He found there is other beds filled with the other males from His team. 

There is Maxx, Jay, and Kris within the room. The laughter from outside the door is heard loud and clear. With a frown, He looked to His phone and when He look at the time He is quite angered. It is 16.00 PM there is only two more hours remaining to the appointed time...

He hurriedly packed His backpack, bringing a towel to the bathroom outside the campsite. When He opened the door, He walked out like there was nothing happening.

On the open room, there is only the other male members that haven't slept yet or have woken up first. While the females have stayed outside their room and played some card games inside the dining table and they have black shades below their eyes from not sleeping. 

Right when Anthony walked out, the females hurriedly run back to their rooms and the males hurriedly prepped their selves and entered the male's room to prepare for their backpacks and wake up their other team mates.

" Guys! Wake UPPP! It is only two more hours to the designated time, Leon's voice is heard from inside shouting to the members sleeping and the other males that have been awoke tried to wake the other males with their hands and water.

After seeing the disordered camp, Anthony just shake His head and opened the camp door to head out for the bathroom.

- Main Bathroom , 77 Highway , Denver , USA

The moment Anthony entered the bathroom, He realized that He is the only one that is the youngest.

Seeing the old man's inside He hurriedly headed to an empty shower head.
