Chapter 12: A New Dawn

204 Words
The days that followed were filled with new beginnings. Mira’s world had not ceased to exist, nor had Elderglen. Instead, they wove together like threads in a tapestry, slowly healing from the wounds of war and shadow. Cael stayed with Mira. He wasn’t the same boy she had met in Hollowspire. The shadows had been a part of him, but they were no longer his master. Together, they helped both worlds—Mira’s and Elderglen’s—rebuild. They began to teach people to see the light, to see the connections between their lives, the connections between worlds. Thistle had disappeared after the mirror’s collapse, but Mira knew he was still out there—somewhere, watching over them, guarding the balance. And in the quiet moments, when the wind whispered through the trees or the stars stretched across the sky, Mira would look at Cael and think about the magic of wonder—how fragile it was, and yet how powerful it could be. She had learned that some things were worth fighting for. Some things were worth saving. And some doors, when they opened, could lead not to destruction, but to the possibility of something new. The End. (Every End Brings A New Beginning)
