Blaze’s alarm blared through the silence of the early morning, jolting him awake at four AM. He groggily slapped the off button, his mind already focusing on the day ahead. Throwing off his covers, he swung his legs out of bed and stretched, his muscles protesting the early hour. Feeling to cave in the blankets came heavy on him but he chased the sleep away by pouring the jug water on his head which was kept on his lamp table but now hung empty in his left hand.
