I leaned against Luce's back, my arms wrapped tight around him, his leather vest cold beneath my hands, the freezing wind piercing through my jeans as we rode. My every breath fogged up my helmet, but at least it felt warm. I didn't ask Luce where we were going, after my dream, I was rocked to the core with fear of everything I had felt. I opened my eyes because everytime I closed them, all I saw was the clouds above me, and I was falling again, with a scream in my throat. I felt as we weaved along a road, we passed through 2 towns, before we began to slow, the trees we passed were tall twisting pines. I sat up to look around, as I read a 50 speed limit sigh, followed by; Welcome to Devils Landing. What the hell sort of name is that for a town, looking down at my watch, I blinked, we'd been riding for almost 2 hours, had I fallen asleep? How far had we traveled. Luce slowed further, pulling up at a 24hr bar, reversing in, I slid off the bike first, another 15 or so bikes were out the front, an neon open sign flashed blue and red. I shoved my hands in my pockets against the cold, as Luce turns off his bike, he dismounts, I can feel his eyes on my as I survey the building. "You should leave your coat here, if you don't want to attract unwanted attraction." He words make me look at him, with no humour in his eyes, I follow his advice. Luce walks in first, pushing the door open as I follow, sweeping my gaze around the dimly lit room, I realise its a bar. A few old blokes sit in the corner playing poker, whilst some younger ones surround the pool table. Luce walks to the bar, where a red head woman, cleans glasses at the bar, a cigarette between her black lipstick covered lips. "Hey Rach, how've you been?" Luce asks, throwing a few notes on the bar, she puts the glass down in front of him, and give me a sideways glance before answering. "Yeah I've been alright, bit slow at the moment, who's your company?" She asks a note of venom in her voice. "Now, now she's not one of my usual company." He answers shoving his hands in his pockets, he nods, as Rach's eyes widen, snapping her gaze to me. "Are you sure? Cassiel?" She asks, as I frowns another one?  "No my names Cassiel." I snap back, she seems to watch me before turning back to Luce. "It's true then," Is all she says, I watch as Luce nods as his shoulders slump. She grabs another glass, sliding it front of me, as they both look away. "So what can I get you darling? A lemonade?" Rach asks, before I can stop myself, I know what I needed. "Double whiskey and coke, couple of ice cubes too." I take a seat, as I clench my teeth, against the remesence of my dream, push in the corner of my mind. Her eyes widen as she scoffs in surprise, but she does as I ask, Luce nods for the same, as I take a long sip. Shuddering against the warm feeling as it spreads down my throat and into my stomach, I smile. "Hey slow down." Luce says, watching me curiously. "I'm thirsty, your the one that brought me to a bar" I reply, swiveling around on my stool, I lean back against the bar, as I notice a tall bloke lift his glass in my direction, something about him seems familiar. At his gesture, the others playing pool pause following his gaze, some whisper amongst themselves, one locks eyes dropping his pool cue, the sounds echos through the room. Luce looks towards it, quickly standing as the person makes their way towards me, Luce stops him, holding him back they whisper hurriedly, the other seems shocked at something Luce says. I'm about to go see what their saying when Rach places a hand on my arm, I look down at my arm as she seems to flinch in pain. "They'll be here in a minute, don't worry Luce knows him." She strains a smile but they turns placing a hand under running water. I look back at the two as they make their way over the others stay playing pool, another taking up the fallen pool cue. "Hey Cassie, Meet Zeal, He mistaked you for Cassiel, so I had to inform him." Luce smiled, patting Azza on the back. "Hello Cassie, its a pleasure, you are a dead ringer for Cassiel, she and I were very close, as was Rax." He gestures behind him, I follow his incline to the stranger holding his glass, his eyes back to the game now. I nod, not sure what to say, he orders a drink sitting beside me as luce goes to fetch his own drink. "So Cassie, how do you know Luce?" Asks Zeal. "We go to school together." I shrug taking another sip of my drink, Zeal nods. "What brings you both here, this early in the morning?" He asks, drinking. "I had a weird dream, about something I drew, and couldn't sleep, so I texted Luce." I reply. "Oh Yeah? What's you draw being chased by a zombie?" Zeal asked, chuckling. "I wish, nah, I dreamt of being kicked out of heaven, I was falling through the clouds, as I fell my wings were burned away, someone tried to save me but I blacked out." I said, shaking away the memory. When I get no reply, I look up, noticing Zeal's stiffened posture, his eyes are wide and the whole bar seems to hold it breath. Luce walks up behind Zeal, placing a hand on his shoulder, but his staring at me. "That's why you texted me?" Luce asks, I nod. "What did you feel? What else do you remember" He presses, I rub my eyes before I answer, not sure why he was so curious. "I felt fear, sorrow, pain.." I squeeze my eyes remembering the searing pain. "but mostly anger, deep seething fury." I take a deep breath before continuing, though no one interrupts, I look down as I speak. "Then I remember tumbling once, when I'm steady again, I screamed a name repeatedly, it was ripped from my lips by the wind, so I couldn't make out the name I called, then blurry image of another angel tore through the clouds reaching for me, I felt relief and then everything went black." When I look back up, everyone from the pool table was standing behind Luce listening, some frown, while others seemed to look away at my gaze. Zeal only nods, with Luce, though they both seemed effected by my words. "Well that's a heavy dream, no wonder you texted me." Luce says a smile pulls at the corner of his lips but it seems forced. The others nod in agreement of his words. Luce and Zeal introduces the others to me, but it Rax that seems so familiar, when I shake his hand, I gasp. Blinking I can't stop my next words. "Morax, you shouldn't be here."
