Chapter 3 - Dos

Agent Sonne and Cloud heard the screaming voice of Sky in their intercom as they flee their stations and went to look for her. Knowing her, she would probably do the exact opposite of what she advised them to do.

“Luna, Iluvia, Halley and Thunder is now out of the perimeter. Agent Sonne, Cloud and Sky, where the hell are you?! Escape the Arena right now! The police is on their way to investigate already! We were framed!” Chief frantically spoke as he watched what is happening inside the mission area with the CCTV cameras he hacked through infiltrating the system.

Charon, the head of the agency and chief of the agents, is shaking in rage as he slammed his hand in his office table. “We lost track to agent Sky after she screamed in the intercom, Sonne and Cloud, check for some basements or any other hidden rooms or facilities that may be blocking her signal. I will give you 15 minutes to find her and save her max. The dolls were not there, those were paid prostitutes to pose as the dolls. No need to save them. They were paid by drugs and other illegal stuffs so let the police handle them.”

“Luna, plant the virus in their tech room the moment the other agents step out of the arena so we can erase their CCTV recordings up and no trace of any of us will be used as evidence check also if there is any CCTV footage in nearby areas. We have to clean thoroughly to avoid complications. Halley, secure the perimeter and make sure that there were no civilians harmed or will be harmed. Thunder and Iluvia, ready the medical team and escape routes, we will be under attack if the police gets close. Be safe and alive.”

“On it.” They all agreed to Chief and moved swiftly as per his instructions. While Sonne and Cloud automatically search for the basement or hidden rooms. After running around for a while, the two agents saw the big wooden cabinet that agent Sky pushed and quickly went downstairs using the stairs not minding the dimly lit room but as they reached the end, they were both shocked upon stumbling with bloody ninjas and other unidentified bodies scattered on the floor. They saw a trace of blood and followed it only to see agent Sky in a bed with a man on her side as they both bleed to death.

The white mattress of the bed was already half covered with blood and the room stinks because of the splattered blood from the dead men outside and their blood. They also noticed an unconscious naked man lying on the ground but were quick to dismiss the idea of saving him when they saw a tattoo of the syndicate in his ear.

They went to Sky and the another unconscious unknown man on her side as Sonne carried Sky on his back while Cloud grunted before carrying the heavily built man Cloud wanted to complain but he knew that they had no time to bicker so they dashed off the room and across the hallway to save the two faint heartbeats on their back.

“MOVE BACK!” Iluvia shouted as she saw Cloud and Sonne carrying two people on their backs in which she identified Sky. The moment that both men landed their feet outside the building, she quickly locked all the automatic doors as people from the inside screamed in fear and anger.

Cloud and Sonne immediately went to the ambulance and let them take care of the patients as they catch their own breath from carrying them and dashing through the arena to save them. Both of them immediately went to their own motorcycles to drive away when they heard the loud siren of the police patrol cars so they dispersed and took different routes to escape. Thankfully, they were able to disappear right on time as the police officers barged inside the arena to arrest everyone inside and investigate what happened in the said event.

Upon arriving at the headquarters, they hurriedly went to see Sky in the infirmary but she was taken into the operating room to treat her broken leg. They only found the man in his robe quietly sleeping as the doctors treat his fresh wounds that seemed to be a whip lash and undergo some tests because of many bruises and they found something odd while drawing his blood for the blood test.

His blood has a different shade of color red, it is almost in the shade of orange which they found odd and suddenly, a doctor yelled that the man had seizures and there is a suspected overdose of drugs in his blood stream. The man was immediately brought in the ICU to stabilize his body and stop his seizures that might greatly damage his body.

A few moments later, Chief arrived looking really pissed and a killing aura surrounds him as he drags along the intel that gave us the information for this operation. The man was bleeding from head to toe and it seems like he was just hanging for his dear life a little longer than he could. The nurses grabbed the man from Chief’s tight clutches as they wheeled him into the Emergency Room.

“f**k I almost killed that man when he confessed that he ratted us because the syndicate bribed him, how dare this imbecile belittle our agency?!” Chief roared at the hallway as the health workers momentarily got shocked but resumed in treating patients while the agents formed a line and bowed their heads.

“I also received the report that Sky fainted during the operation so I immediately went here. Is she okay? What the hell happened and why none of you were able to realize that it was a f*****g trap?!’ This time, Chief tried to control his rage but still slipped in the end.

Luna suddenly stepped in. “ The whole thing may be a ploy to frame us but agent Sky found the most expensive doll. I was in the clean up and I checked the files that Halley had. One of them was the profile of all the dolls that is up for auction and the unconscious man Sky saved was Primo. Their one time big time offer and the highlight of their supposed event.”

“There seems to be a problem with one of the deliveries as Primo got delivered into their fake auction, Luckily, Sky saved him and the syndicate is now going nuts finding him. I got a mobile phone and maybe it is from one of the cronies and there was a message to find the missing doll whatever means necessary.” Luna said with great confidence as she was sure that she is doing a job well done but was immediately interrupted when Thunder suddenly interjected.

“ Which one? I got number Two in the operations.” Chief and the other agents gaped at the stoic face of Thunder who seemed to be passive and is just telling a boring story. The usually silent and robotic type of man just dropped a bomb like it did not pose any threat to their agency.

Chief and the other agents took a few seconds to recover from the shock but Sonne immediately fell into deep thinking on how to protect the agency from possible backfires in their failed mission.

“How did it happen?” His voice was really cold and his face gave nothing in his emotions. Sonne is the head agent for this mission so the pressure is really heavy for him right now.

“She was in the same delivery truck with Primo but she was still in a password protected cell. The driver left the truck open when he delivered Primo inside so I came and tried to free her but I can’t let her out because the cell is electrifying, I also can’t crack the code because it was changing every second and . . .” The stone faced agent seemed to blush as he tried to think of a better way to tell the story but no words would be right if he was about to tell that a woman trapped in the cell is strip naked. He knew that it would just take a long process to explain so he just grabbed Halley and Luna, their technology experts as he guide them to the parking lot of the headquarters in a Delivery truck.

Halley and Luna was still in shock but they climbed up the truck just to see a built in iron cell with a touchscreen password protected tablet at the titanium glass door with a beautiful, sexy red-haired naked woman lying inside. The tablet has numerical keypad but when they tried to touch it, a small electric shock made them wince but the lady inside shouted as she was electrocuted through the metal chain attached to her ankle. Her hair is now static and she is shivering in fear and pain.

She had her head hanging low as she sob quietly in the corner in a fetal position her back facing them. “Hey.” Luna tried getting her attention but the lady is still impassive as if she did not heard anything. Halley went closer and tried a different approach.

“We will free you. We are here to help.” the word help seemed to work like magic as the lady slowly lifted her head up as she turned to look at Halley with her hopeful blue eyes. There was no words uttered but the agents felt her struggles and their hearts clenched at her current state.

The three agents felt the strong urge to help her no matter what but Thunder can’t look at her anymore so he went off the truck but stopped after he landed on the ground.

“I named her Dos.” Thunder blurted before he left.
