I stood there for a while thinking over everything he had said and I knew he meant every single word he had said, I could feel all his emotions through the mate bond and it broke my heart how much pain he had been in since I had left. I felt the pain he felt when he knew I had left and I felt the pain he went through every day that we were apart, but I knew what that felt like because I had gone through the same pain, even though I didn't admit it when it was happening.
