Choices Can Hurt Others

Alice POV:

After six plus hours of practice I was worn out and super tired - I took a quick shower since I was super sweety.

As I plopped down face down on my bed, "That was hell", I mumbled into my pillow.

Turning my head to the side, "And tomorrow I get to go through the whole ordeal again", I sighed closing my eyes.

I sat up slowly, "I still have to game some though", as I head over to my computer starting it up.

Pulling out the chair sitting down cracky my knuckles, "Let's see how long I can play tonight", I said to myself putting my headphones on pulling up my gamer friends to see who was on.

*Two hours later*

"This bunny is going to hope of - love you all and will be on hopefully tomorrow as well - night bunny arm", I said blowing an air kisses ending my stream.

One I was satisfied that it had saved and ended I turned off my computer and taking my headphones off placing them on the desk before getting up and stretching.

"I should eat something light before heading to be", I said walking to the door walking down the stairs.

Seeing that the living room light was still on walking over I saw that my father was still awake watching some television.

"Still awake?" He asked turning to look at me as the tv volume turned down.

"Yeah, I was going to make something then head off to bed", I replied.

He thought for a moment, "How about we order out?"

I stood there for a moment, "Um...sure?" Not knowing what they had here.

"We won't be able to go out just yet", he said leaning forward, "But here we have witch delivery", he said smiling.

Ugh, I hated being unable to go anywhere, "What's the point then?"

"Alice I understand you don't want to be locked within the house or the yard - but you can probably agree it's to soon to explore or go out where others whom may get hurt".

"I've lived with humans - you know - those without powers", I said getting annoyed.

He said smiling sadly, "I understand your pain sweetheart - but now that you have started to practice your abilities more it will be harder for you to control them in a stressful environment".

"Who's to say that I will get stressed out just by going out?" I snapped, "Sure I may get stressed or pissed here - but your making me stressed!"

He got to his feet walking over to me and placing his hands on my shoulder, "Alice within this house and yard you won't hurt anyone or yourself".

Shrugging my shoulder to get his hands off, "You really don't know me", I turned and walked out of the room and back up the stairs - forget food.

I slammed the door behind me, "God's dame! He knows nothing about me!"

I walked over to the bed plopping down as I started to cry - how could he treat me like I was weak?

Pulling my pillow to my chest I started to let out the hurt and pain for how I was being treated.

Alex POV:

*Next day - Saturday, same day as Alice*

So I ended up getting in trouble regardless - so my aunt made me help her with her garden - and by help I mean I do all the hard work and she enjoys her tea.

She was not in the wrong though, I mean I was caught doing something that was against are laws - and the normal punishment no matter the age is 30 days locked up, only for first timers - second is two months and so forth.

From what I could see this was going to be a long day - but this was better then nothing.

I whipped away a new fresh sweat stream that had started to roll down my forehead - I will say it was definitely warmer today then it had been which was odd for this time of year.

I did not really think to much of it as I was pulling more weeds from the flower bed - I had been at this for two hours with only a water break here there.

Let my just tell you something, I saw to the moon Goddess that more and more I work the more weeds would emerge.

Sighing as I slowly more slightly over grabbing the base of another weed and started to pull it out of the ground - I heard my aunt laughing in the background to her friend about something I could not hear.

Getting to my feet stretching before picking the pile of weeds dumbing them into the wheelbarrow before grabbing another pile almost felling it to the max.

"So I hear that the angel has a little teen angel", my aunt's friend said.

"Wait? I thought he was more of a hermit - he hardly leaves that log cabin", Lilly said.

"Right? And I hear its a girl - looks to be in her teens", the other woman said.

"Oh my!" Lilly said gasping, "How did he hid her that long then?"

"I hear she was living in the human territory all this time", the woman said.

At that my wolf perked up, and without even noticing I had walked over to where they where sitting and talking.

As they both turned to look at me, "Do you happen to know which area they where seen at?"

I noticed out of the corner of my eye that Lilly's eyes sparkle slightly as her friend looked confused, "I believe where Jim is at. You know the one just past the old abandoned factory".

"When was this?" I asked almost bouncing on the balls of my feet.

"Umm...I think I heard sometime early evening yesterday", she said confused.

Without saying anything word I took the gloves off that I was wearing, and headed inside to get washed up as my aunt was yelling for me to come back but I could not hear a thing.

I may have found a clue to where she might be - my mate might be closer to me now and I had to find out if it was her!
