Alice POV:
Getting anxious I got up and turned on my computer and once it was fully powered on I pulled up spider solitaire playing a couple rounds trying to calm myself down.
While still waiting I heard a whistling sound come from outside think that it might be Alex I got to my feet and walked over to the window to see someone I had not thought I'd be seeing anytime soon - that was for sure.
"Serena", I said confused why she was here, plus I was still unsure what I'd say or do when I did see her.
"What? You don't miss me?" Serena asked playful crossing her arms over her chest leaning on one foot.
Sighing, "I...I don't know how I feel seeing you...I just learned what you are...", I finished trailing off not sure what to say next.
I could see her breath heavily though her nose, "So he finally told ya the truth?" She said more to herself then me but I still caught it.
"Well I'm glad you finally know the truth - had to keep my mouth shut sometimes", Serena said in a halfheartedly laugh.
I knew she was lying - one thing I had picked up from her sometime ago was that she could keep her mouth shut or snitch if it suited her wants and needs.
"What do you want?" I asked squinting my eyes at her annoyed.
She grabbed her heart pretending to be hurt my reply, "Wow and here I wanted to see how you where doing", Serena finished leaning on the other foot now.
Surprisingly I felt she was telling the truth - I mean I pretty much grow up with her - so I picked up on her tells of lying or not.
"Serena I don't know how I fell...I need time to figure out how I feel about...well everything", I replied rubbing my arm.
She smiled understandingly, "I understand - I'll give you time", Serena turned to leave before I yelled,
"WAIT", she turned to look back at me, "Tell me the truth...did you see us as friends?"
She smiled at me which reached her eyes, " At first I thought it as was a job that I may regret later - but I was able to blown away with time - I enjoy the time with you".
"Thank you for being honest with me", I said as she waved turning and vanishing in a cloud of smoke.
I leaned my head back agents the wall closing my eyes sighing deeply, "Another things to add to my plate", I mumbled to myself.
Alex POV:
I saw the house and before heading towards the side where I had seen Alice last when I heard voices one I could tell right away it was Alice - the other I did not recognize - it was female I could tell.
I moved away just in case this other person was someone I had to be careful around and did not want to be spotted.
"Serena I don't know how I fell...I need time to figure out how I feel about...well everything", I heard Alice voice ring out.
"I understand - I'll give you time", I heard the other voice reply making me think it might be this Serena that Alice just mentioned.
I could not help to catch that there was a hint a longing from this Serena person making my wolf snarl in my head while I was ready to attack.
Before I had noticed her presence had vanished all of a sudden - which was wired since I don't think she obviously had you know walked bast me, but it's wired since it just disappeared - and I was not getting the aura of an angelic being.
Trying to calm myself as well as my wolf down which was very hard since she was my mate and no one else!
I heard Alice lightly hit her something and letting out a have and deep sigh making my wolf whine in my head wanting to be with her.
Taking a couple deep breaths putting on a fake smile as I walked over towards the area the other person had been at.
I calmed down when I saw my mate sitting in the same spot as last time smelling that now growing familiar sent feel my nostrils.
"Hey, miss me my lovely?" I asked feeling my anger start to fade just so slightly.
She opened her eyes which I noticed where more gold all of a sudden which scared me slightly before turning back to there normal color.
"Is something wrong?" Alice asked worriedly as her long brown hair fell past her face and she tucked it behind her ear.
I laughed slightly trying to play it off still unnerved at what I has just seen - was it a tick of the light?
No it cant be - that just does not make sense, then the small voice in the back of my head reminded me,
"She is part angel", it whispered - and no this is not my wolves voice for sure!
But why would her angelic powers be emerging when she should remember that I was coming today around this time?
I was just stumped, I don't think that I came over to this spot or said anything that would be considered alarming.
"Are you ok?" Alice asked again concerned at my lack of an answer right away.
"Huh? Oh yeah - I was just blown away by your beauty", I said smiling lovingly.
She looked at me suspiciously not seeming to fully believe my somewhat lie - I mean she was breathtaking - but I was still a little taken aback at what I had seen.
"Uh huh", Alice said not seeming to believe at all - I think she was starting to put some walls up - which is totally not what I needed.
"Sorry - Sorry", I said trying to make sure she did not end this conversation or change whatever her decision was going to be.
I ran my hand through my hair breathing heavily before continuing, "I was just a little shocked...I don't think you meant it or if it was even intentionally done....your eyes where just golden for a moment there", I finished watching her closely.
Alice blinked rapidly as it was seeming to sink in and she went slightly pale in the face making me regret what I had just said.
