Death Of A New Era

Alice POV:

Bitting my lower lip looking down at my phone that was sitting in front of my sewing it flash once again, I rubbed my arm trying to reassure myself that it was going to be ok.

Taking a deep breath, "I...I don't know how I feel - first off it's to sudden for any real relationship of really any kind - I mean we only just met the other day", pausing I took a couple more deep breaths, "it's hard for me to give a good reply even. And you just proves to me that I can't control my powers and I'm not ready to be around others - I'm not ready for even friendship with anyone unless they can, one trust me not to hurt them, and two I don't want to be around people who can't possibly defend themselves from my abilities".

I grabbed my phone starting to slid off the bench when Alex yelled, "WAIT!" I could definitely hear the desperation in his voice.

"I understand that it's to early for a romantic relationship or anything, but please give me a chance at a possible friendship - even if it's at a distance like this", his voice cracked as he was talking.

"Honestly I...I just don't", I replied rubbing my arm a little more vigorously now, "I could hurt you - or happen someone else comes around - who's to say I may not hurt them as well?"

"Alice", Alex said sadly, "I understand that I may have hurt you - which was not my intention".

I slowly looked up Alex continued what he was trying to get me to hear hoping I would stay and listen to him, "I don't mind if we could just start as talking buddy's even".

As he was talking I noticed that his deep blue eyes change to a silver baby blue mix.

"My lady", Alex's voice changed all of a sudden shocking me, his whole demeanor suddenly changed - it kinda reminded me of a dog wanting love and attention.

"My human side - Alex is dumb, I only the other hand don't think your frightening in anyway - I find you to be strong - and I know your going to grow even stronger over time",   this males voice said lovingly as he looked upon me.

"I wish I could knock that i***t upside the head - how can one not see the amazing woman standing above me", he continued.

"Wh-who are you? Your not Alex", I finally asked.

He smiled lovingly as he was taking a slight bow, "How could I not have introduce myself to you My Lady - my name is Aaron".

Alex POV:

As I watched the shift in her demeanor I was stumbling with my words realizing how much I had f*cked up.

"i***t! Let me talk to her!" My wolf Aaron yelled angrily in my head like he had been since I first opened my big mouth.

"No! Your just going to scare her more!" I hissed back.

"You have already upset her - your actions are what scared her!" Aaron hissed back.

Ignoring him as I tried to block his load voice in my head, "WAIT!" I yalled trying to get her to stay when I did not notice Aaron had taken over pushing me to the back of the mind that we have to share.

Aaron POV:

I finally pushed Alex to the back of are mind - my turn to talk - he already messed up already - I did not want to lose my mate now that we have found her - we have looked and waited for her longing to be with her

As I talked I noticed that her face changed to a shocked making me want to smile like crazy, but I knew better. Her different emotions where just adorable to watch - only if it was not fear....I hated that look.

As her angelic voice rang in my ears making me want to melt at the sound, "Wh-who are you? Your not Alex"

I smiled and took a slight bow never taking my eyes off of her as I introduced myself to her.

She stood there thinking for a moment confused as she sat down and asked, "Umm...who exactly are you?"

Smiling kindly I replied, "I am the wolf part of this i***t - and I will be host with you nor lie - I am more then excited to finally found you - I could just die happily now".

She blinked rapidly, "I don't need that", I could not help but give a slight chuckle slightly.

"I will not - I am just so happy to finally find you...all wolves want their mates...it's been hard", I replied looking down for a moment before looking back up, "But just hearing your voice, your sent...you I finally feel at ease now".

She looked up for a moment making me think she was taking in what I had said, "I just don't fully know if I'm ready to be around others", she replied looking down at my with saddens in her eyes.

I smiled kindly at her, "I don't want to push you in anything - if you feel it's to soon to just talk - even at a distance, then I will wait for you", I said feeling a sharp pain in my chest - my mate feared being near us....or anyone...I don't care about others...but if she does not want to be around me...I..I don't know if I could take it.

She bit her lower lip which I yearned badly to place my own agents, "Maybe...just maybe if it's like this", she gestured between us, "maybe we can talk...But if I scare you or Alex or if I feel my powers going out of control then we will have to end everything".

Finishing she locked eyes with my her brows hunched with worry, but I just could not help the smile taking over at this point, "You will never scare me, I will always be here for my mate!"
