Interrupted Lunch Date

Alice POV

Most of the first half classes went smoothly, just couple times for kids misbehaved - but what high school doesn't have that? When it was getting close to lunch just moments away from class ending, I had got a called over the intercom,

"Miss Alice Knight please report to the main office, I repeat Miss Alice Knight please report to the main office thank you", the female voice set in a nonchalant tone voice.

Ugh I just hate when they do stupid stuff like that - like why can't they just call the teacher and stuff? Rather than calling over the intercom for the entire School to hear that they wanted me to come to the bloody in office!

So I gathered up all my stuff before I leaving I gave Serena the paper that she would be needing to study with since it had all of the answers and problems on it - well what I think the teacher is actually going to have on the exam that is - and I did promised her I would do so, and headed towards the main office wondering what they even wanted or needed from me at this time because I never really got called to the office - scratch that ever been called - because I was a good student I always just kept my nose down low or clean I guess would be the right saying - I don't know anymore I was too worried about what did they even want.

I was truthfully, glad as I walked through the Halls towards the main office that there was no other students out wandering the halls, but I could totally feel my phone constantly vibrating - I could guess that all of my friends were worried seems like I had already said - I never really get called to the office or anything like that so it was just stupid - but what can I do about that I thought as I made my way towards the office door.

Once I opened the door and walked inside still confused as to why I was even called here in the first place - I notice that there was a man who looked oddly familiar to me with goldish hair - he had his back to me so I couldn't see his face - but I felt like I knew who they were I just couldn't quite put my finger on it at that given moment.

I walked up to the main receptionist who is beyond focused on the computer screen in front of her. Awkwardly asked her, "Umm I'm Alice Knight, you guys called me to the main office?'

At this the man with a goldish hair turned to look at me and I recognize the blue eyes with gold hints - I did not know how, but I did, since mine did that when I used my angelic powers - they where the same sparkle as angles - I have met a couple of my uncles, as well as my cousins which I have two. Once he saw me he I noticed that he was smiling - but it seemed sad - and he was smiling like that towards me for some reason I didn't understand why though.

He walked over to me and giving me a hug - but I can tell you this I was still very confused as to what was even going on who he really was - but deep down in my gut I had a feeling I knew who he was.

But as to why I was even called here to the office in the first place - and why he seemed to know me - which was beyond confusing - or as to why they where even hers in the first place.

Sensing that I wasn't too sure and they let me go but arms length, "Alice, I've missed you, I'm so sorry I am only coming to you now, but daddy is here now", the mystery man said as he slowly looking into my eyes - which I could feel where trimming with power - and they stull had that sad smile plastered on his face. While I on the other hand just stood there dumbfounded - and I mean like literally dumbfounded because why heavens name would he even show up now.

Alex POV:

"Alex dear are you planning to skip school once again?" My aunt Lilly asked at I took another bite of toast, as she looked worriedly on with he brown eyes locked on me, and she brushed a loose strand of hair back behind her ear.

"Lilly dear, he is grown and can make his own decisions". My uncle Mike chimed in as he was finishing up some important paperwork that he had forgotten about.

My aunt was about to cut in when he continued,

"Plus its not like he really needs to go to school anyways since he is beyond smart - sometimes even for his own good that is", he added giving mt a playful grin, which I knew was he messing around.'

"But dear the school keeps calling, and I can't keep lying telling them saying that he is sick - when even his teachers have seen him outside of school around town or something", Lilly shot back at him sighing deeply.

"Hey, hey now I'm sorry that they keep calling - when I really should have already finished and been out of there, plus there is no point in me being there - not unless I get super board and can't find anything to keep me busy during the day", I replied simply.

"I know that dear", Lilly started, "but you know that the headmaster does not feel the same, they believe that there is still more there for you to learn".

Sighing I replied, "And what possibly could that even be?"

"Maybe its how to have good s*x or something", Mike chipped in getting a punch in the arm from my aunt Lilly who was now giving him the death glare.

"MIKE HEMLOCK! THAT IS NOT FUNNY!" She yelled at him, but getting a laugh in return as my uncle was apologizing putting his hands up in defense.

"Look - I'll go in maybe like Monday, but today I have something else I need to do", I replied finishing the last bite of toast and taking the plate to the sink. "I'm going to be head out now", I said heading towards the front door.

"Please if you can at least try and go maybe once a week or even more that would be wonderful", my aunt asked as she had followed me to the door handing me my almost forgotten about wallet.

"Aunt Lilly I will try - but I can't make any promises", I replied as I tucked my wallet into my back jeans pocket.

"I know, and that's all I ask of you dear", she replied giving me a light kiss on the cheek smiling at me, "You be safe now - you hear?"

I smiled back giving her a return kiss on her cheek, "Always", I said opening the door heading out to once again see if I could find my mate, and I could not tell you why, but for some reason I had a feeling that I maybe able to get closer to finding her - I can't tell you why I felt that, but you can trust a wolf when they tell you something was going to happen - and happen soon it felt like it was.
