I’m done, Damien.” Her voice trembled, but her resolve didn’t. “I agreed to this arrangement on your terms, but I never agreed to be humiliated. I never agreed to let my name be dragged through the mud while you sit there, unfazed.” His brows furrowed. “You can’t just walk away.” She let out a shaky breath. “Watch me.” Without another word, she spun on her heels and walked away, leaving him sitting at the breakfast table, his phone still lighting up with the wreckage of their exposed lie. But for Damien, the true wreckage wasn’t in the headlines. It was in the way Sienna had looked at him before she walked away. Like she had finally seen him for who he really was. And she hated him for it. Elyano Sinclair sat in her grand parlor, the dim glow of the chandelier above her casting long shadows across the room. Her usually sharp eyes were clouded with something Damien rarely saw in them—disappointment. He stood before her, his hands clenched at his sides, as she slowly set down the newspaper detailing the scandal that had erupted over his marriage. The headline screamed betrayal, and while Damien had never cared for public opinion, his grandmother’s reaction cut deeper than any media firestorm ever could. “You lied to me.” Elyano’s voice was quiet, but the accusation in it struck like a whip. “You let me believe that this marriage was built on love. That Sienna was the one.” Damien swallowed, his throat dry. “Grandmother, “You what?” Her gaze pinned him in place. “You had me help plan a wedding for a farce? You had me bless a union built on deception? Tell me, Damien, when were you going to tell me the truth?” Shame, a foreign emotion to him, settled deep in his chest. He had always been calculated, always thought three steps ahead—but he hadn’t anticipated how much hurting Elyano would hurt him. “I never meant to lie to you,” he admitted, voice raw. “At first, it was just a business decision. But then… things changed.” “Did they?” Elyano sighed, leaning back in her chair. “Because from where I’m standing, all I see is a woman who trusted you and walked away when she realized she was just another chess piece in your game.” Damien flinched. Elyano shook her head. “I thought I raised you better.” She was not just disappointed in Damien but also sienna.. The disappointment in her voice shattered something in him. For the first time, Damien Sinclair—the ruthless billionaire who had always had control—felt completely lost. Damien had never been one to reflect on his mistakes. But in the weeks following Sienna’s departure, reflection was all he had. The penthouse felt cold without her presence. His life, once structured and predictable, now felt empty. He had gotten so used to her laughter, her fiery spirit, the way she challenged him in ways no one else ever had. And now, she was gone. And it was his fault. But Damien Sinclair was not a man who admitted defeat easily. If there was even the smallest chance of getting her back, he would take it. Sienna had always believed he cared more about his legacy than love. That he saw emotions as weaknesses. Maybe she had been right. But not anymore. He would prove to her that she meant more than any contract, more than any business deal. And he knew exactly where to start. Sienna’s art studio had become her sanctuary. Even in the wake of everything, she had thrown herself into her work, using paint and canvas to channel emotions she couldn’t put into words. Which was why she nearly dropped her brush when she heard a familiar voice behind her. “I hope I’m not interrupting.” She turned sharply, her heart lodging in her throat at the sight of Damien and Elyano standing in the doorway. But it wasn’t the same Damien she had walked away from. He looked… different. Less composed. More vulnerable. Elyano walked closed to Sienna she was embarrassed and scared at the same time.Elyano saw this from her expression and hugged her. Though I was disappointed at first but I love you so much to let you go..no more pretense I just want to know you this words broke sienna and she cried.. After a proper introduction Elyano found out that Helen Peter, her best friend in high school was sienna grandma.what a small world, your grandma was the first person to buy shares from our company,it was so sad when I heard she was involved in an accident. The shares now have yield millions I think we would do a paper work so you can get it. Sienna couldn’t believe what she just heard..after Elyano and sienna conversation. Damien took a slow step forward, then another, until he was close enough for her to see the sincerity in his eyes. “I came to fix what I broke,” he said, his voice quiet. “I bought the building.” Sienna blinked. “What?” “The building,” Damien repeated, motioning around them. “Your art studio. It belongs to you now. No rent, no contracts. Just yours.” Her breath caught. “Why would you do that?” “Because I was wrong,” he admitted. “I spent my life thinking love was a liability. That it was something that made a man weak. But losing you showed me that my legacy means nothing without you in it. And I don’t want to live a life where you’re just a memory.” Sienna’s chest tightened. “I want to give you the freedom to create, to dream, and to be yourself—without fear of loss. No more contracts, no more deals. Just us, building a future together.” Tears pricked at her eyes. For weeks, she had convinced herself that Damien was incapable of love. That he would never change. But standing before her was a man who had torn down the walls he had spent a lifetime building. A man who was offering his heart without conditions. Slowly, she stepped forward. “You really mean that?” “With everything in me,” he murmured. Sienna hesitated for only a moment longer before closing the distance between them, her arms wrapping around him in a fierce embrace. For the first time in their complicated history, there were no contracts between them. Only love. A year later, in a quiet chapel illuminated by candlelight, Damien and Sienna stood hand in hand. This time, there were no business deals. No agreements. No expectations. Just a man and a woman, daring to trust each other completely. As they exchanged vows, Damien knew—this was the only contract he would ever need. And this time, it was forever.
