“So…” I began, sinking into the oversized sofa beside Chanelle in a living room that looked like it had been pulled straight from a high-end movie. I had to hand it to the guy. He had good taste.

He typed something quickly before setting it on the coffee table between us.
"Do we want the good news or the bad news first?" he asked.
I chewed my lip, glancing between Chanelle and William.
