Chapter 10

"Shouldn't we be–"

"I can see I shouldn't have said that." Victor quietly said to himself.

"Cat people? Really? Let me ask you are you are friends with full bears?" Dante asked

"Well, not really. They're kinda mean." Victor asked

"So why would you think that we should be cat people? And on top of that, it's a house cat, not even a tiger. A House cat!" Sugar hissed

"Damn, I'm sorry," Victor said

"Guys, forget about that for now. It's 5:45. I don't think they're coming. It's been 4 hours." Joey said

"f**k do you think we should just go, or should we wait another thirty minutes," Sugar asked

"Your call, sis," Kevin said

Sugar looked around, trying to figure out why the person hadn't shown up. Sighing, she said, "We should go." Sugar said without another thought, "Maybe they got cold feet."

"Well, this was very disappointing," Jacob said

"Yes, it is, but I vote we all go home. I heard Andy has a new girlfriend. And he's taking her to family dinner." Dante said

"Okay, see you guys. I'll be there at eight sharp." Sugar said

"Bring the bear," Kevin said

"What?!" Victor and Sugar both said in shock.

"Mom wants to meet him," Joey said

"How does Mom know about him?" Sugar asked, but she felt her father had something to do with it. All Dante and Kevin did was raise their eyebrows and smirk.

"Fine." Sugar huffed

"Do I not get a say?" Victor asked

"No." Everyone else said

"See you tonight." Sugar frowned, pulling Victor out of the Dunkin' Donuts.

Victor thought she might curse her brother's name, but she didn't. She turned toward him and kissed him.

"Let's get ready for my mom." She said and headed to his car.

"Are you sure that's Victor Petrov?" Joey asked

"The one and only," Kevin said

"I heard his old captain in Long Island asked to have him transferred to your precinct because he was too serious for their precinct," Jacob said

"Yeah, and?" Kevin said

"He's a teddy bear. No way, that's the same man." Dante said

"You know our sister. She has a way with even the most stubborn man. You remember Talor Rugnard." Kevin said

"Oh yeah, Talor forgot him," Joey said

"We should go back to Sugar House, where your cars are, so we can each get home and get dressed for dinner," Jacob said

"With Andy and his new girlfriend. When will he settle down and find a nice woman to bear his cubs?" Dante asked

They all burst into loud laughter until all their phones chimed, and they saw a text from Sugar.

Sugar: Let's do the 'Who are you?' bit tonight.

They looked at each other and agreed, then sent a group chat back with their approval.

"Okay, now that that is settled, what are we thinking in names?" Joey asked

"Oh, I hope those boys of yours convinced that daughter of mine to bring that nice gentleman to dinner tonight. Or... Or... I'm disowning them." Natalie said

"So you're going to disown our boys and not our girl. Does that make sense to you? Because it doesn't make any sense to me. Our boys probably told her its up to Sugar now." Emmanuel said

"Well if they didn't she should know if I don't meet him now I still have the key to her house." Natalie said

"Which she has asked you to return multiple times." Emmanuel said

"Oh well you know I'm not going to do that."

"Yeah I know that."

"Well don't you think she should know that too?" Natalie huffed

"My love you are certifiable." Emmanuel smiled kissing his wife on the head.

"And that is exactly why you love me dear." Natalie said "Now get out I have to start preparing dinner."

"Yes ma'am."Emmanuel said

"You can stop worrying Andy everything will go smoothly." Fiona said

"You don't know that I'm the baby they play with everyone I date." Andy said

"Don't you have a sister who's way younger than you?" She frowned

"Yeah but I'm the youngest boy." Andy said with a raised his eyebrow.

"Okay my point is what do you do whenever she gets a boyfriend?" Fiona smirked

"We'd haze him to make sure he was a good fit."

Chuckling she said, "and how is that any different than what you do to your sister?"

"Why are you making good points?" Andy said

"Because I'm the logical part of this relationship." Fiona said on a long sigh. "We should get ready to go to your mother's were two hours away."

Andy opened his mouth to say something.

"No. No. Get out of the house and into the car." Fiona grabbed the keys and pushed him out.

"So you're seriously thinking about going with Wiliker Booth?" Vic asked

"No. I said that to f**k with you. I'm going with Wanda Booth I love how sophisticated it sounds." Sugar said

Vic smiled and shook his head.

"Are we going to my house or are we going to yours?" He asked

"I have the clothes in the trunk of the car."

"Why?"

And Vic really wanted to know he found Sugar intriguing.

"Because I don't keep anything that colorfully ugly in my closet. We can go to your house it's closer." Sugar said pulling into more traffic.

"Sure. Sure." Vic chuckled as he drank his coffee.

"You wanna f**k?" Vic choked on his coffee.

"What?! Why would you ask me that?" Vic asked

They didn't talk the rest of the way to Vic's house. But when they got there they hurried out of the car quickly remembering to grab the garment bag in the back of the SUV.

"We have an hour it takes about 23 minutes to get to my parent's house from here. So that leaves us 37 minutes to get showered and dressed." Sugar said

"How do you know how far your parents are from here?" Vic asked

"I did the math it's 13 minutes from your house to mine and ten minutes from my house to my parents."

Vic just stared for a good three minutes.

"Are we going to do the math or are we going to have s*x because this conversation wasted five minutes."

She sighed starting to walk away but he grabbed her slamming her back into the door and kissing her neck again. Vic picked her up and carried her to the couch. Sugar removed her top and he went to work pulling her bra down to suck on a n****e she let out a long groan.
