The call with Spence keeps haunting through my head. How he reacted when I picked up the phone, the way my heart ached as I heard his voice, it’s still making me feel a little ‘off’. I hadn’t expected that I’d react to him like that, so emotional, my whole body screaming out for him.
I’d expected to react like that to hearing Cyra again, the need inside me to be with her is overwhelming. My desperation to get home to her is getting stronger every time I hear her voice, but I hadn’t expected to react this strongly to Spence. Things are going to get interesting when we’re finally all together again. Which should actually be in not too long.
