I’m cutting up some veggies for dinner, Maeve is standing nearby, cutting the meat. We’re going back home tomorrow, so we wanted to make sure we had a good meal today.
We’ll be going back on a single flight, with no extra stops, though we’ll be arriving at an airport a little away from our home town. Both because we wanted to be as safe as possible but also because we’re in no hurry to actually get to the city right now.
It feels good, to finally go back, all of us together, but it also brings a lot of new problems with it. Once we’re back, we’ll have to think of what to do next, where to go from here, how we’re finally going to regain control over our lives.
