I didn’t want to talk about things that happened and even worse things that could have happened, especially not now we’re all finally back together. But I guess it couldn’t be helped.
I don’t blame Liam or any of the guys for anything. Sure, Liam was pushy that day when he asked me to be their date to the Gala, but it’s not like the job would have been much different from me taking the princess job at Max’ cousin’s daughter’s birthday party. I would dress up, be pretty for a couple of hours, and go back home after. It would not have been any different.
I agreed to be their date because I needed the money and the risk wasn’t any higher at the Gala than it had been at a birthday party for shifter kids. It was my own choice and I didn’t see a problem with it. It wasn’t any riskier
