The single flight home was much, much easier than the three flights on our way there. Mostly, because I was no longer super stressed about finally seeing Zack and Max again, and I could actually keep my food down this time.
Brian called ahead to the airport about when we’d arrive and he made sure that we’d be able to get as much protection as possible once we landed. He made sure that the media wouldn’t try to swarm us too much, and he also set up a place where he could talk to the media and give a statement about the whole ‘situation’.
It’s not perfect and we had to fudge the truth about a couple of things, because we’re hoping to keep the whole problem with the Alpha phoenix out of the media. We really don’t need even more drama around us. But we really can’t keep hiding, and
