“I’m sorry for putting you through all of this.” I lean back on the couch, my phone to my ear as I talk to Lowell, the Omega who helped us out when we were staying in the city.
“It’s fine.” Lowell lets out a short laugh. “Ives thinks it’s all a great adventure.”
I smile too. “I’m glad someone is enjoying himself.” Lowell and his Beta mate, Marrok, and their kid also went into hiding the day that our apartment in the city was invaded. And now that we’ve had the threat on our families, we all thought it was best if they moved again, just to be sure. I have no idea where they’re staying, but it seems that their kid is the only one who isn’t all stressed out about it.
