LIZZIE TAKES CHARGE
Thordric contacted Lizzie on his long-distance communicator as soon as the sun rose. After briefly explaining what the situation was, she immediately responded by sending Wizard Batsu to get them on the Wizard Council’s small floating ship named Dinia’s Jewel.
The ship was the fastest one in the country, as Vey had tweaked it when he’d first discovered it tucked away in the cargo hold of one of the larger Ships of Kal; huge floating vessels that carried people all over Dinia. As Dinia’s Jewel was so fast, Batsu reached them only two hours after Thordric had sent word.
As he let down the rope ladder so that they could climb aboard, he called over to Thordric. ‘Is it true? Are you really going to gather magic from other countries?’
