THE LIGHT

270 Words
Looking at the end of the Line, I see a light shinning bright; I move towards it in pure delight, driven by the end in sight. Leaving my troubles and fears behind, I seek for the joy on sight The Light, the light, my greatest delight to see his might. The light has a voice, He asked me to sit at his right, to behold his might and to live aright. In this light, no fright in sight, just peace and joy can suffice. The light is love and the love brought forth light that darkness couldn't understand. By his word the light came and remained, with his WORD, he made man enjoy the light and its fullness. His word became flesh, to dwell among men and preach of the light which is within sight. The world was not made of the world, but was brought from God, to pay the price for the world to dwell in light. The light bringing shame to fright and an end to night. The word putting fright aside took the sins of men he dwelt with, and was killed in the sight of men, to be buried. But he came forth after the third day to restore light to the world. His blood which was innocent atoned for all sins and took away darkness from the hearts of men and restoring their souls where the light stays. This is how I have the Light in me, despite the sinful nature I took from the first man, his blood cleansed my garments and made it white and I could live in the Light. Oluwasemilore
