(HIS) Chapter 23
I moved slightly when I heard the doorbell ring. His embrace lulled me back to sleep. He moved beside me, but I didn't get up even when he left the bed. He was talking to someone. I also heard the faint clatter of utensils and trays from the food service. I guessed he had woken up earlier, and when he saw it was already night, he decided to order dinner.
The person who delivered the food left the suite. Then I heard his footsteps coming back into the room. What I felt next were the soft little kisses on my cheek and lips. He was waking me up. I groaned and opened my eyes. I rubbed my eyes even though they weren't itchy and I'd been awake for a while already.
"I know you're tired, but let's eat first. You can go back to sleep later," he said softly, with a hint of affect
